I am Titanium. Jk, I am Shirin.
Bliss. ♥ 25 October 2013

My ankle's condition was getting better during the weekends, however it worsen on Tuesday morning! )": Utterly disappointed. Went to see another doctor in the morning before lessons and bought myself an ankle guard. Really thankful that Dad  sent me to SP in the morning and came back (Around 830) to get me just to go see a doctor.

Apparently this doctor told me, my ligament tore. ):

Now my ankle isn't that swollen but walking is a bit tough.

As per normal, lunched with part of 1A01 for a couple of days. I swear I miss their crap and presence. Played "Heads Up!" before leaving for class.

Category was Animal Kingdom.
Everyone: "Something like sheep!" "Meh meh meh!"
Randal: "What what?! DEER!"

HAHAHAHAHAH Answer was GOAT. This was too hilarious!

Mandatory selfie with them. Was looking really hideous as I was rushing to leave. Which is why I have a strawberry on my face. (:
Brought my Fujiflim to school.

Great catch up with Justin and Randal over lunch. (:

With John! TOO MUCH SWAGGG.

4/6 TEAM USS. (Gonna change another name soon.)

Got to meet up with my beloved LAMER B.B.H.S.X.   Hazel met up with us @ SP, thus I rush out after workshop just to find her first. (:

Talked about so much over dinner @ Holland. Oh god, I miss them terribly. HAHAHA, guess what, none of us changed.
Amirul and Hazel still quarrels over nothing.
Bernice stills disturb Amirul.

HAHAHAH, LOVE THEM SO MUCH.

The pretty Bernice and I.

Hazel and Xinlin.

Pardon the ugly photo taken. Everyone were famished then, thus the unappealing photo.

BBHSX Reunited.

Really blessed that I have an awesome family and so many great friends. They are always there for me, making me laugh and laugh even more. Some friends that isn't in the post also, really great that they are here. (: (:

FTT is just around the corner!! Oh man, I really hope I will pass. PRAYING SO HARD. I wanna drive soon!

Enjoy your weekend!

First week. 19 October 2013

First week of school just flew by so quick. The new modules are quite okay, I guess. New classmates are awesome but still kind of shy. (We need to break the ice. HAHAHA WHUUTT.) Some lecturers do make the lessons enjoyable while some... not so. Lunched with most of the 1A01 twice/thrice this week. I miss their nonsense and having them in the same class.

Love Advance Math Module (AMM) lessons, partly cause I get to see the others and there are only 9 of us in the class. But, 4 hours of AMM back to back, from 8-12, is no fun. No more Dr Loo's lesson. ):

Finally got to step into the school's workshop. I have to say that the workshop is very very X 298765837647 humid. (to me) We got to Mill and Drill our own aluminium blocks and we had our own machines/ station. It was really fun however I had to use more strength to operate the machine. (Tightening the stand, etc) To add on, some of the parts were filled with grease. (EWWWWW) I washed my hands at least 4 times but my hands still feel and look dirty. I'm planning on bringing my own sanitizer the next time. (HAHAHAH, provided I have one.)

We stood for almost 4 hours, straight. Everyone were so exhausted thus a few of us headed to have a drink. Guess what, my ankle was really stiff and was hurting that night. I thought it wasn't much of a problem thus I applied some cream and went to bed.

BUT NO! The next morning, it was still hurting badly. I couldn't walk properly not even climbing the stairs. Thus I limped all the way in school. ):  Thank goodness for Dad for sending me to school and the guys for waiting for me while I slowly limp my way to the next destination.

Luckily lessons end at 11 on Fridays. #TGIF for getting an injured ankle. :/ Went to the doctor's and apparently I "over used" one of my muscle in the ankle. My guess would be not standing properly (throughout the 4 hour workshop lesson) and I stretched my leg that night.

Some muscle relax cream. However I doubt that it helps.

Look! My left foot swell up and it looks like I got a BAO on my ankle. ):

I really hope my ankle will recover soon. I don't like limping around, it is really tiring. ):

On another note....
The voting for the photography contest is still on going! Do "Like" / "Vote" for my entries. Thank you so much. (:

Moving on to the next phase. 14 October 2013

Had driving lessons for 6 consecutive days. I have to say, it was super fun but tiring. (: Going up the steep slope, S-course, Crank Course, etc. My instructor really talks a lot, I guess. At least now I can multi-task while driving. In the beginning, whenever my instructor tells me anything when I'm driving, I can't hear what was he saying. ): (HAHAHAHA) But now I got the hang of it, so yup. (: Final Theory is just around the corner, I really hope I'll pass.

Met up with my former tutor for lunch. She had been teaching Cindi and I for more than 10 years. (That's very long, aye?) Cindi and I then headed to Chinatown for some dessert. (: I think that they sell one of the best desserts.

Milk Pudding. Hot. The texture is like the egg tart filling and tastes really really milky, I find it too overwhelming after eating a few scoops. On the contrary for Cindi.

Yam Paste for me. Was craving for this when I just stepped in their shop.

Attended Mum's Colleague's wedding. It was a Malay Wedding and I absolutely love Malay weddings because of the food and the atmosphere.

Look! They even have a table just for cupcakes! :O (I wasn't sure if it was edible, maybe it was for deco and no one took it. So I didn't take. But it was so tempting! AHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA)

They have at least 10 different types of beverages. Isn't it very colourful? Mum's colleague wanted to try every drink. I prefer plain water though.

Mini Chocolate/Nutella Blossoms and Chocolate-Chip Cupcakes.

Their Brownies are to die for! It is really really good! (: Comparable to Amirul's home made Fudge Brownies! Their Chocolate Hazelnut Tart was super duper good too.

So colourful, aye? (:

Here comes the groom!

First day of school was great. Even though 1A01 is split up, but at least I have 11 other guys in the same class with me. (: Thank goodness, I'll be able to have classes with Gladly. Same Gen-Ed and AMM class. Gen-Ed was really fun (I guess for only now). Luckily the lecturers for Mondays are really friendly. However, 5 hours of lecture in one go is no joke. 12noon till 5pm.

Bitter-Sweet of starting a new semester. I definitely miss the old 1A01 (#teamselfie / Lets Can Can team) but new modules and new classmates.

#teamselfie messing around with Chun and Taufik. (:

Lets Can Can team.

AMM bunch! Thank goodness we're staying together. (:

Very very first photo with part of the 1A01, just after flag day.

Taken part in a few photography contest online. Do view them! (vote too! teehee) Thank you so much.

Selamat Hari Raya Haji! (: Enjoy your holiday!

Bangkok Trip. 09 October 2013

A short get away after 3/4 months.

My family and I stayed @ Baiyoke Sky Hotel and it is the WORST hotel I've ever stayed in. (We booked this hotel as it was rather an impromptu trip.) Once we went up to our rooms, I found at least 3 freaking COCKROACHES(!!!) in my room. We called the house keeping 3 times and they finally got here. They suggested us to change room, however only one room on another level is available and we did not agree, thus I demanded them to disinfect the room and clean everything again. To add on, their service is really slow/bad, their managers don't really do much, I have so much that I can complaint about. (But I'm gonna control my anger.)

MOVING ON....
We hopped on a Tuk-tuk and headed to Siam Center to have dinner @ Cafe Marmalade in the Garden.

Basil Chicken Fried Rice.

Phad Thai.

Seafood Fried Rice. Its was super duper spicy.

Green Curry with Roti.

Fries.

Famous Fried Chicken

I prefer Grey Hound Cafe @ Siam Center, next to Cafe Marmalade, we've tried that the other time.

Cindi and I were so creep-ed out by the Cockroaches that we wanted to sleep on the same bed, but it was too small. (HAHAHHA) We dare not close the curtains as we were afraid that if we touch it, we might find more..........

Their breakfast buffet was so-so, I'm not sure outsider tourists will go there just for the breakfast buffet and I've read online that people mentioned it was great. Oh well, different people, different taste. But one thing that I definitely love and found unique, was their Thai Coconut Pudding. YUM. The way they prepare is like... using those Tako-yaki mould. And it taste really unique and delicious.

We walked all the way to this famous Temple between Siam and Chit-Lom station. While crossing the road junction, there was a loud bang behind us. A lorry collided into a motorcyclist. We were really lucky, if we had walked any slower, we will definitely be in that accident. THANK GOD!!! Pheww.

Another accident on the opposite side that happened earlier on.

Not really clear of the accident. But yeah, this truck collided with the motorcyclist.

We then left for Chatuchak, the famous weekend market. Sad thing was we didn't buy much and I was feeling very tired. Thus we left for Siam Center for lunch. (AGAIN.) Siam area is the place to go for good food and shopping centers that are like Singapore's.

After a hearty meal, we walked to Central World and Platinum Mall. The Naraya @ Central World is FOREVER filled with China Tourist. (I'm not sure why.) And it will be very crowded and squeezy.
Their Cath Kidston shop is very very empty and big, unlike the one in Singapore. Quick stop @ Starbucks for coffee/tea/Cinnamon Bun.

The Cashier forgot to charge me for the Cinnamon Bun and when I went back to tell him, he apologised to me. (whattt?)  Oh and just so you know, their Cinnamon Bun is only 50 Bahtt, which is abour 2 SGD only.

Did some shopping @ Platinum Mall then headed to Platunam(?) Market and walked back to the hotel. And yes, once Cindi and I got in the room, we found 4 baby Cockroaches. Grrrr, this really piss us off. Thank god we did not see anymore after that.

Dinner at a nearby restaurant then to the night market outside our hotel.

Early Grey Tea. Which they gave us some little biscuits as well.

Some Fried Rice.

My Fish&Chips.

Look the shoes are only 100 Baht, which is about 4 SGD!!

Breakfast was the same for the next day. We went up to the Revolving Observatory Deck in the hotel and managed to see the other hotel we stayed, Pullman King Power. Their service, security and food is super good.

We then checked out of the hotel and headed to Century The Movie Plaza @ Victory Monument station to do foot massage and my nails! The lady who did my foot massage last time, still remembers me! (: Went back to the same shop to do my nails. There were too many designs and I wasn't sure which to do so I picked one which didn't really suit me... Oh well. (HAHAHAHA.)

Lunch at Eat Am Are Restaurant, which is so so cheap and good.

Chicken and Sausage combo with Onion Rings.

Prawn and Fish.

Chicken and Fish combo.

Grilled Salmon.

The total was 580 Baht, which is about 25 SGD only! (:

Some last minute shopping and tea @ the hotel cafe before leaving for the airport. Yes, their cafe desserts and service is so so bad! Oh god. It has been one of the... weirdest/ worst hotel trip ever. That's all.

Oh, by the way do have a look at my photo that I've submitted online and vote for me! (:

Have a great week! xoxo. (:
