"Everything will be alright" 30 March 2014


Didn't start the week well. Firstly, I had a terrible case of hiccups and I was on the train when it started. Secondly, the train had delays that day, thus I was slightly late for work with my hiccups on for about half an hour. Thirdly, I had a terrible rash that very same day.

Oh my! What a terrible Monday, aye? 

However, as the day passed, it wasn't so bad and I can say that I ended my work week with a smile. (Super cheesy, but oh well.) Was walking back to my work place after my break and this random guy just complimented me. There were many little kids that came by my work place and they are super adorable! They would high-5, fist bump, wave to us. 

There is this Filipino kid, he was super duper cute! He kept running to the counter and waving to us, high-fived a few times. 
  • He took his camera to the counter and so I posed for him. (HAHAHAHA) He took a photo of me and my friend, and we even took a selfie with the little kid! But he ran off without taking his camera! (Yes, we chased after him to return his camera)  
  • He ran back to the counter so I asked for a hug and he hugged me! Twice! (Awww, so sweet!)
  • Before he left the place he kept saying and waving "Bye!" to us. 
This little kid really made my day! Too bad the selfie photo was with the little kid. ): Sigh!! 

Just a short catch up over dinner @ DinTaiFung with Charlotte. To our surprise, we were wearing matching outfit and carrying the same bag! OMG. 


Met up with YQ and Amirul for lunch @ Zam Zam! Was craving for it for a few weeks already. Walked around Arab street, Haji lane, etc. Had a really fun catch up with them! (: 



Mid-week Ice cream treat @ Shrove Tuesday!
 Read that it was a new cafe near my house. So why not try it out! (: I think that this cafe is so cute, the ambiance is very cozy and good service. Ordered their Waffles with a scoop of Earl Grey ice cream and a bottle of Apple & Peach juice.

Actually the staff asked us if we would wanna have a bottle of the fruit juice and it's only a dollar, so why not? 


They even have this cozy corner with artificial grass patch and a guitar.



WAFFLES! 
Their waffle is very light. Unlike, some it's so dense and you'll feel so bloated after finishing it. Their Earl Grey ice cream is yummm! Comparable to the one @ Creamier. 


I still prefer Creamier's ice cream, for now. But I'll still visit Shrove Tuesday, because they have other sweet treats as well! Like macaroons, tiramisu, peanut butter fudge bars (Which sounds so good right now!), etc.

HOLIDAYSSSS 15 March 2014


USS with Cindi on Monday! Making use of our seasonal/annual pass. Now they sell Despicable Me merchandise! So many minion plush, shirts, etc. Super cute. 

Cindi sat next to a guy in the Mummy ride and his expression was super funny when they took the photo. HAHAHAH. Even after the ride he was still in shock? Definitely his first time on the Mummy ride. 

Another lady behind us on the Transformers ride kept screaming when the seats move. Even when it wasn't scary. I found that super hilarious thus I end up laughing through out the ride. HAHAHAHA. 

SELFIE!! 





Started work on Wednesday and it was so boring 'cause of the amount of people, its too little! 

Celebrated Chai's birthday by tricking her and I felt a little bad that she was really really upset while tricking her and we left her alone @ Town. But at the end she teared with joy when we surprised her @ SP. :'")  






Reached home around midnight and woke up around 10 that morning. I would have slept even longer if they hadn't done any drilling. Luckily I took off from work. Met the family @ CBD area for lunch and settle some stuff. REALLY HOT, HUMID AND HAZY. Totally insane weather. 

Headed to Department of Caffeine (D.O.C) for some dessert. Tried their Valrhona Chocolate Waffles, Carrot Cake, Elderflower Lemonade and Ginger, Mint leaves Lemonade. 

Carrot Cake was average, I had better ones. The lemonade drinks are refreshing and tastes unique.


Valrhona Chocolate Waffles with honey and butterscotch ice cream, raspberry sauce, maple syrup and fresh strawberries. The chocolate waffle tastes bitter and unsatisfactory. Probably a little burnt? It wasn't that good.




Went to Bukit Merah to buy the Handmade Ang Ku Kueh, Poh Cheu. It tastes so good, especially their peanut flavoured one. YUMMM. There was a really long queue when we reached there around 4. Sadly the Yam one was gone by the time it was our turn to order. 




Currently my area is having block painting thus there would be a lot of painters around. Nowadays whenever  I walk by them, I tend to smile at them. A way to thank them for the hard work so far, I guess... Even when I get on the bus, I will smile to the bus driver and some of them even smile back!

End of Year 1! 08 March 2014


Yay, exams are finally over! Had be quite stressed out during the exam period and finally I can take a break. (:

Last paper was AMM (as usual) and lunched with them at Pizzahut. I'm really gonna miss them when this AMM class of 9 vanishes. ): sigh! Glad to say that I had great times with them this academic year but we need to have more fun together!

Headed back home to get stuff for class chalet! Yay, party time. Had loads of fun with 1B01♥ and they are definitely awesome.





Had only 4 hours of sleep and started the next day super tired and cranky. However I can't sleep in the day thus only sleeping at 9pm. Wow this sucks. 1B01 is gonna split again in year2! ): I would say that 1B01♥ is more bonded as an entire class compared to 1A01♥ . They are awesome.  Nevertheless 1A01 was still great. (:

Catch up with YongQuan♥ at NgeeAnn Poly and headed to Cupplets cafe. We spent more than 10 mins figuring out which angle was the best to take photographs of our food like professionals on Instagram. Most were failures, obviously. Benjin♥ came to meet us for a short while.


Ordered their Salted Caramel Tart and Pure Vanilla Frapp. The Pure Vanilla tasted disgusting though, it has a very artificial taste which I dislike. Their Salted Caramel was good, but a little expensive.

Had a great catch up and laughed a lot with them.




Creamier Ice Cream Shop is one of the my current favourite. Definite must try flavour is the their Earl Grey Lavender. Cindi and I love this so so much! If you love flowery scent/flavours you're sure to love this too.
