The Xinlins Lunch Date @ The Fabulous Baker Boy. 04 October 2013




"FINALLY GOT TO TRY FABULOUS BAKER BOY!"

A few days ago, Xinlin asked me out for lunch and a short catch up. So we decided to go The Fabulous Baker Boy. I've read reviews and friends saying that it's good, but I didn't know that it was an outdoor dinning!! ( :O ) It was scorching hot and we were perspiring when we reached the cafe.

My Chicken and Leek Potpie. It was super good. Though I had blocked nose on that day, I could still taste the sweetness of the Chicken and Leek. (: It is $16 for a plate, there were a lot of chicken chunks, potatoes, etc, but I think it's a little pricey. 





We then shared a slice of Caribbean Lemon cake. It tastes good but their cake texture was a little hard.  


I think I wouldn't go there very often. Overall the food tastes good, but it's a little pricey. 

On another note, I've had my second driving lesson! Guess what, my instructor made me drive on the road!! It was definitely scary, but I felt that it was way better than driving in the circuit where the space was really limited. I told my instructor I had not done any Left Turn or U-Turn in the circuit, so he made me do it on the open road. Oh my, I was screaming "OH NO, OH NO" while doing a U-turn. Plus he made me drive from Punggol back to Serangoon. I really enjoyed the lesson, but so far I can't really multitask while driving. (HAHAHHA.) Can't wait for my next lesson!
