Headed to Geylang Serai market for lunch. However we got lost in Eunos area, thus having lunch around 2pm.

Chicken Briyani for me. 

Mee Goreng for dad. We rarely eat mee goreng and it was super yummy! 

We then walked along Joo Chiat Road. Love the place. 

There were at least 3 cupcake bakery and the houses there are just so nice. It is those traditional peranakan house.  

Look, a shop that distributes ice cream to those motorcycle ice-cream carts. 

I love these kind of buildings. Thank goodness these buildings are still standing in our modern society.

Dad and I then headed back to Geylang Serai Market for a bowl of cold Cheng Teng after walking in the hot and scorching sun. 

Finally went shopping after so many weeks. Bought a new pair of boots and I can't wait to wear them. Gotten some clothes for China trip.

This isn't done yet, still loads more to go. 

Really excited for this trip. But I don't expect much as our ancestral hometown is not as advance as Singapore. So hopefully I'll enjoy the trip there and then to Hong Kong! 

We are feeling kind of scared too. Not because of how the place looks, but when we arrive at airport, we are afraid that there will be a bunch of relatives ambushing us.
